$35 Dues + Recommended $20 Environmental Fund Contribution Per Year (Jan 1 to Dec 31)

Your membership is vital to protecting our water resources. Examples of what your dues and contributions sponsor:
• Lake Water Quality Testing: Ongoing Secchi disc testing for water clarity.
• AIS Control & Boat Inspections: Keeping invasive species out of our waters.
• Healthy Lakes and Rivers Management Plan Goals: Driving our yearly environmental focus!
• COLA Partnership: Membership and a representative on the Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Association board.
• Community & Youth Education: Supporting the Freshwater Festival environmental education event for 6th graders, as well as educational newsletters and this website.
• Volunteer & Social Activities: Loon nesting monitoring, testing, and community events.

How to Pay
1. Pay Online via PayPal (Preferred)
You can bundle your dues and environmental contribution into one single PayPal payment.
This is the easiest choice for most members and simplifies processing.

If you prefer to pay by check, you can bundle your dues and environmental contribution into one single check made out to FHLRA.

A Note on Tax Deductions
Because most people now take the higher standard deduction on their taxes and do not itemize, a single total payment directly to FHLRA (via check or PayPal) is the best option for nearly all members.
However, if you do itemize your deductions and strictly require a tax receipt for your environmental contribution, you must mail in the printed form and pay by check. You will need to write a separate check payable to the "City of Park Rapids, Treasurer" with "AIS Fund for FHL&RA" on the memo line. Electronic/PayPal payments cannot be used for this tax-deductible city option.
